Adult Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus) - the world's fastest raptor - in flight against a blue sky. The Peregrine Falcon is a Species at Risk in Canada with the anatum subspecies (found in all provinces except PEI) listed under SARA as Threatened while the other two subspecies tundrius (found in the far North above the tree-line), and pealei (found on the BC and Alaska coast) are listed as Special Concern
